My Amazing Oscar

This is a dedication of acheivement for my amazing son Oscar who despite his profound disabilities lives life to the full. I wanted to share the magical and inspiring attitude of my young man, who has shown no matter what any profession or person tells you that you probably won't be able to take part or be included in regular hobbies and daily activites that we all take for granted, you have to try it for yourself and make your own decision. The proof here is that so far Oscar has not found many that he truly could not take part in , in some way or another, for example riding the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Walt Disney World Orlando, alligator seeing in the everglades, taking up Judo, swimming with dolphins, riding the quad bike up the stables and being one of 14,231 pirates who reclaimed the Guniess World Record in 2012.

NATIONAL TRUST NYHAMS GARDENS

Fantastic day out at Nyhams Gardens in Sussex, this is the ruin of the original house that still stands, I had a lovely walk around the grounds, round the old pond and through the Laural pathways, then a wonderful picnic and ice cream to finish off.

Amazing huge tree...

The famous wisteria walkway, this was still just in bloom on the sides and the trunks of the wisteria are amazing as they are so old.

Magnificent ruins, I can imagine how stupendous this house was before the fire.

I just love folly's like this one, they are real bursts of peoples personality's and it is a real pleasure to walk round and enjoy their passion.

These are fig trees that grow over the back wall of the car park, and we wanted to look at how they are trained so that we can maybe add this feature to my Mediterranean garden wall at home.

Fountain in the flower garden.
