My Amazing Oscar

This is a dedication of acheivement for my amazing son Oscar who despite his profound disabilities lives life to the full. I wanted to share the magical and inspiring attitude of my young man, who has shown no matter what any profession or person tells you that you probably won't be able to take part or be included in regular hobbies and daily activites that we all take for granted, you have to try it for yourself and make your own decision. The proof here is that so far Oscar has not found many that he truly could not take part in , in some way or another, for example riding the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Walt Disney World Orlando, alligator seeing in the everglades, taking up Judo, swimming with dolphins, riding the quad bike up the stables and being one of 14,231 pirates who reclaimed the Guniess World Record in 2012.

OSCAR'S FIRST GRADING AT JUDO 1st MON

 
I PASSED MY 1st MON GRADING:  RED PLUS 1 STRIPE
 
SURPRISE GRADING TODAY AT MY JUDO LESSON, I WAS REALLY EXCITED AS I HAVE BEEN PRACTISING REALLY HARD WITH MY BUDDY. 
 
USHIRO UKEMI
I HAD TO DO DEMONSTRATE A BACK BREAK FALL WHICH MEANT I HAD TO FALL BACKWARDS AND BANG MY ARMS ON THE GROUND TO BREAK MY FALL.
 
MUNE-GATAME
I HAD TO THEN DEMONSTRATE MUNE-GATAME WITH A DIFFERENT BUDDY WHERE I HAD TO PLACE MY CHEST OVER MY BUDDY'S, CLAMP THEM TO ME BY GRIPPING THEIR ARM SLEEVE AND THEN STOP THEM ESCAPING WITH MY WEIGHT AND POSITION.
 
KESA-GATAME
I AGAIN HAD TO DEMONSTRATE  WITH A DIFFERENT BUDDY I LAID ACROSS THEIR TORSO HOLDING MY BUDDY DOWN AND PINNING THEIR LEFT ARM DOWN TOO, AND PUT MY RIGHT ARM UNDER THEIR NECK AND GRABBED THEIR GI ON THEIR RIGHT SHOULDER, THEN USING MY OTHER HAND I PLACED IT ON THE RIGHT SLEEVE TO STOP MY BUDDY MOVING THEIR BODY AND THEIR RIGHT ARM SO THAT THEY CANT ESCAPE.
