My Amazing Oscar

This is a dedication of acheivement for my amazing son Oscar who despite his profound disabilities lives life to the full. I wanted to share the magical and inspiring attitude of my young man, who has shown no matter what any profession or person tells you that you probably won't be able to take part or be included in regular hobbies and daily activites that we all take for granted, you have to try it for yourself and make your own decision. The proof here is that so far Oscar has not found many that he truly could not take part in , in some way or another, for example riding the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Walt Disney World Orlando, alligator seeing in the everglades, taking up Judo, swimming with dolphins, riding the quad bike up the stables and being one of 14,231 pirates who reclaimed the Guniess World Record in 2012.

OSCAR BEING USED FOR WEIGHT LIFTING !

Mune-gatame
I have placed my chest over my uke's chest, clamping him to me by gripping under their neck and arm to try and stop him escaping.

Opps my uke is escaping from my Mune-gatame hold, he then lifted me up and used me like a dumbbell and did some up, over, left and right movements for me to feel.  I loved it.

Mune-gatame again I will not let you escape again!

My Bestfriend Ewan is doing great at Judo and the instructor says he is doing so well, here I am trying for a third time to stop my instructor from escaping from my hold...

Fantastic lesson, very full on and lots of moves and techniques practised.  Black belt coach had Oscar make his move on him and then he demonstrated how to escape and lifted Oscar up off his chest and over the top of his head, he then weight lifted Oscar up to the centre and then to the left and then to the right to teach Oscar the feeling of movement.

Oscar Did really well and took as much as he gave, he pushed back, gripped with his legs and held an instructor down and pushed back, my fabulous Judo dude.

My fab best friend being awarded his red belt.

How Cool, my best friend was awarded the etiquette trophy for great attention and respect in the lesson today and for trying the hardest.
