My Amazing Oscar

This is a dedication of acheivement for my amazing son Oscar who despite his profound disabilities lives life to the full. I wanted to share the magical and inspiring attitude of my young man, who has shown no matter what any profession or person tells you that you probably won't be able to take part or be included in regular hobbies and daily activites that we all take for granted, you have to try it for yourself and make your own decision. The proof here is that so far Oscar has not found many that he truly could not take part in , in some way or another, for example riding the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Walt Disney World Orlando, alligator seeing in the everglades, taking up Judo, swimming with dolphins, riding the quad bike up the stables and being one of 14,231 pirates who reclaimed the Guniess World Record in 2012.

MY FABULOUS PIGS, 5MTHS NOW, GINGER NINJA AND LEMONGRASS LOVE THEM...

Lemongrass is such a wonderful pig, so friendly and loves a cuddle

Lemongrass's snout...

Ginger Ninja, he is such a dude.

I am so loving my pigs, this so far has been such a great experience and adventure, they are amazing, I have only had one scare, when a few weeks ago the electric fencing failed due to lack of sunshine and very grey rain clouds, Lemongrass worked it out that the fencing was not on and she chewed her way through it, and then Ginger stuck his head under the fencing and they both decided to dig themselves out of the run!!!

This was really funny and a bit worrying as I was home alone with mum and we thought oh well we don't mind the pigs escaping and digging up some more of the garden, but what we were worried about was them going next door or even worse running down the street!!!  Mum and I had visions of us running down the road with a bucket of pig feed ha ha, all ok as soon as daddy got home he took of the solar charger, dried it out and placed it on charge in the utility room, wahoo next morning electric fencing back up and running and very well behaved pigs again!
