My Amazing Oscar

This is a dedication of acheivement for my amazing son Oscar who despite his profound disabilities lives life to the full. I wanted to share the magical and inspiring attitude of my young man, who has shown no matter what any profession or person tells you that you probably won't be able to take part or be included in regular hobbies and daily activites that we all take for granted, you have to try it for yourself and make your own decision. The proof here is that so far Oscar has not found many that he truly could not take part in , in some way or another, for example riding the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Walt Disney World Orlando, alligator seeing in the everglades, taking up Judo, swimming with dolphins, riding the quad bike up the stables and being one of 14,231 pirates who reclaimed the Guniess World Record in 2012.

BEST FRIEND ME AND DADDY PRACTICING OUR JUDO FOR OUR GRADING 1st AND 2nd MON

Oscar is using a Mune-gatame chest hold on uke, Oscar is clamping uke to him by gripping under uke's neck and arm, Oscar keeps his weight and body over uke and uses his legs for stability.

Here Ewan is escaping from Mune-gatame by using the bridge and roll action.  He will push up and move towards Oscar and push him off and then Ewan will then roll over on top of Oscar and apply Mune-gatame, which is the  next photo.

Well done Ewan for escaping form Mune-gatame!

Clive with Ewan trying to escape from Kesa-gatame, unfair advantage I'd say!!!

Osoto-otoshi to Kesa-gatame, Clive has thrown a hold down and as Ewan hit the ground he has planned his escape and he is trying to trap Clive's legs with his own.

Oscar is applying Kesa-gatame to Ewan

Ewan wanted to practise a 3rd mon move Mae Mawari Ukemi (1) and Clive did it with him, Ewan as his instructor says a very good student who listens and learns very quickly and very well.

Well done Ewan very good technic.

Clive cheating by grabbing Ewan out of a Kesa-gatame hold and throwing him over his side!

Ewan applying Osoto-otoshi on Clive in full swing.

Well done Ewan for taking my daddy down wahoo !
Ewan came over for some Judo practise so that we could work through our grading schedule together, He is doing his 1st mon and he knows all of his moves plus most of the next grade 2nd mon, so I really do think he will pass his grading.  We had such a fun time with taking daddy down and making him fight back, I was all for Ewan attacking daddy and shouting get him get him get him and we had a really fun play session.
